My last son birth was very memorable because he was a miracle baby to me and my family not only was he not suppose to be here because my tubes were tied , burned and clip so I never planned on having any more children. During delivery I remember getting a medication because he was coming early due to complications from diabetes; to high blood pressure to the blood flow was not circulating. I was in labor for about 3 hours in pain then my husband and my mother decided to go get something to eat down stairs in the hospital because the doctor said it was going to be a while soon as he went down stairs the baby came with one push he was 3lbs. and 5oz. they were paging my husband and soon as he came up he had already pass the baby in the hall. I choose this example because this was the most memorable and all the tries and tribulations I went though to get to where I am now and that is with a positive health son. Birth relates to child development because it is a part of a child's development such as bonding with the parent and learning from them. While reading about Africa and what the mother endure during birth and not having all the medical equipment we do to make sure babies come out healthy and even the mothers safety some of them die due to HIV and others die from malnuturtion. While comparing I realized that in the U.S is more fortunate and has less death rates of infants vs. Africa and low birth rates due to modern technology.
